Scott Petts

Chief Design Officer, Co-Founder at Labyrinth Training

Scott Petts is a designer who has never let an industry define him. He's applied the same design thinking to entertainment, publishing, education, and now compliance training.

About Scott Petts

As Chief Design Officer and Co-Founder of Labyrinth Training, Scott brings over 15 years of digital experience design thinking to the worlds of compliance training and education. Before Labyrinth, he held senior creative roles at HBO, MTV Networks, Rolling Stone, and College Board -- designing digital experiences for some of the most recognized brands in media and entertainment. His work on the Game of Thrones Viewers Guide for HBO earned an Emmy Award for Best User Experience and Visual Design.

At Labyrinth Training, his design pedigree gets applied to a different kind of problem. How do you build compliance training that people actually engage with? How do you create interactions that mean something? How do you make workplace learning feel relevant to the learners taking it? These are the questions that drive the work.

Labyrinth's approach has been recognized by the Brandon Hall Group, Telly Awards, Anthem Awards, GDUSA and W3 Awards, and trusted by organizations including Spotify, FanDuel, AB InBev, Westinghouse and Alcon.

Scott writes about the intersection of design and compliance training -- exploring interaction design, user behavior, and storytelling as tools for transforming workplace learning.
